Daycare and puppy socialisation – what’s involved? Tap on this post for the details.

Grace says…”the dogs are really happy when they come in the morning which is what I love as they come to me tails wagging, ready for a great day. Obviously the first time can be daunting. It is like the first day at nursery! Some of the dogs find it a bit nerve-wracking but they soon settle in and then they have such fun. That is what it is all about – exercise and fun. Customers can give their permission for their dog to play with other dogs so they get used to the kennel experience, and younger dogs also learn how to play and socialise safely with other dogs.

Daycare is completely designed around what is best for your dog. Some older or more nervous dogs don’t want to play, which is absolutely fine. They can have calm walks alone with me at their own pace and the Hirsel couch is perfect for hugs and quiet one-on-one time with me. Every dog at the Hirsel gets the same amount of my time regardless of their requirements. I work hard to make sure that every dog has the best experience when they are in my care.”
